Typical scenario: Ok I want to put Linux. But then if I need Windows
Mmm .. I read dual boot ... but is it safe? If I have to remove Linux back as before? Just to help migrating to Linux often Wubi advice. /
directly Windows like a normal program. So much so that you can uninstall Linux from Windows from the Control Panel (and 4 / 2) completely! You might ask: so why do dual-boot? Wubi virtualizes part of a hard drive, then Linux will be slower ( especially when you use that disk, which is actually a virtual hard: perhaps because are installing programs on inux !). Be clear goes well, I becoming a snail .. is still acceptable speed! If you want a more powerful Linux you have to install ("really") Ubuntu (or other cited Up ). If you want to try this amazing program you can download it free (for obvious things Linux) from the official site. Otherwise you can have both: Ubuntu and Windows same pc / notebook . First, it would be better to install Windows FIRST . In fact, as usual, the operating system from Microsoft (handsomely paid) does not allow you to do simple things: it does not recognize other operating systems (see Linux). Then install Ubuntu (recognizing all). You can download (for free) at the official site and burn the downloaded file (more on rewritable CDs). Setup is simple and faster than XP . The only prudence lies in partitioning : that when you decide how much space to give Windows and how Ubuntu (you decide how much space must have the Windows partition and the rest of the space will use Ubuntu : give at least 5 gb, 15 gb more than enough!). After installation (just read the guide on the ubuntu site is proof that chimps !) Reboot and you can choose whether to start Windows or Ubuntu each time the pc ! Will you use Windows less ... until the migration Total Linux! Guaranteed.
