Many Wireless Connections Will Router Handle

Best Software Ubuntu Linux: Act II

This time, I devote a micro ranking the best software for Ubuntu Linux I tested. The criteria are primarily the functions implemented, stability, and graphics. Let's see those profits. Category
Graphics: Gimp and Picasa. The first one can fully substitute professional programs such as Photoshop, for image editing and graphic patterns. Some use it in conjunction with Inkscape (vector graphics) or video editing programs (creation of transitions etc). The latter is also known under Windows and therefore did not need any introduction. Picasa is software to manage your collection images / photos and make slight adjustments. Unfortunately, use wine to run in Linux, this is not reflected on the performance of course but if you Google the native development environment for * nix penguin friends would all be happier.

Category Accessories
: clamav (antivirus. .. do not be afraid just in case you are considerate to those who use Windows ...), Firestarter (GUI for the firewall already built into Ubuntu, it takes 4 clicks and you're done), Wine (and you can run almost all programs for Microsoft, including video games ... check out the wiki . Fantastic!) recordMyDesktop (to record video of what you see on your desktop video), Hardware Lister (view detail all your hardware and drivers used. Ed is not written in "mono" ergo better InfoSys) deborphan (removes libraries residual uninstalled programs), and Avant Windows Manager (mac-style dock so cool and easy to learn). Multimedia Category
: Vlc (who does not?) And Audacious (light that audioplayer can use Winamp skins and more. Editor's Note has the equalizer.) But if you want to see the lyrics of the songs you hear then let Rhythmbox too! For those who use iPod (aaargggghrhhhh! was better the Samsung P2!) GPod or Atunes, or Rhythmbox (Amarok at all for those with Kubuntu / KDE). Veoh videos to see there is a "workaround": VeohProxy. Category
Office: OpenOffice better than MsOffice!
Category Internet: aMule (eMule for Linux, if you fatweb aMule course ...), Deluge (FileDownload to file. Torrent), Firefox (download to set the record in one day a few weeks ago!) or Ephyphany, Amsn (unfortunately the only really clone, even at the level of functions, Msn Live Messenger. Editor's Note I am following the progress of Galaxium Amsn and 2). Finally, a newentry for me the best Gnome Baker burner software for Gnome! Other than Brasero and K3B ... Well enough for today, I strongly urge you to look at these programs if your looking for something different. soon!

English Pack For Morrowind

Open Mind / Open Source

E 'gone a long long time since Hardy Heron has placed on my pc. With pleasure these days I'm surprised to have almost forgotten to use the secondary system (Vista) from Microsoft. Now penetrated the world for linux (h) I enjoy all human opensource and live happily. Every now and then trawled the Distrowatch page to see if there is any distro promising but already I know that hardly ferried to other embodiments of the penguin . Of course, someone else tried the OS (see CrunchBang!, SymphonyOS, gOS and OzOs) m'incuriosiscono yet. But on closer inspection are a little family. Also Ubuntu / Debian based. Anyway I know you and no 20 commands from the terminal, but I need to advance as far as Ubuntu. Operating system perfect? No, nothing is perfect (and everyone can become one) but a nice piece on a Mac & Win! Many say that with the Cupertino-closed there are no problems. Sure enough pay and salty! Buy a nonsense TV tuner like to see the digital / analog TV on your computer ... 80 € + 80 about tv tuner software (on some forums these prices have been welcomed enthusiastically ... crazy?) against 40 for linux, with the ' unique wisdom to see clearly what tuner you buy (I'm talking about brands is that they invented the technology, and in any case has to do it the ache mac-user!). Much the same for the software (which are less numerous than on mac windows and linux). This is of course only examples. Sure enough even with windows 20 € ... then, if you have a fast PC of last generation (not weighed down by the elephant Vista) and all s'impalla (Microsoft NOT 'multi-tasking!) Make you blaspheme against viruses and similar that maybe even you ... everyone do what he wants with his money and with his nerves. Linuxuanizzato I finally understood: freedom first (OpenMind) I choose Ubuntu (Open Source), I choose to smile when I turn the notebook, an infinite community of friends ready to advise and to listen to solve problems big and small together and selflessly. You rely too accustomed to profess ready to put his hands in his wallet (good if Apple and salty) or impersonate guides often useless (never sent email to Windows on why the game worked perfectly on XP will not start on Vista, or the hard disk "certified Vista" does not work on the XP your laptop?). Choose well, the way predetermined by someone else ready to choke with software license agreements that say halter is un'eufemismo. Glad you, me, I laugh even more! I hope soon to post and link to some guides to optimize and customize Ubuntu (not really more than a few "tips & tricks" are always useful) is the result of research in this time of silence from the forum. See you soon! PS To all the fanatics of aesthetics: look at Ubuntu with the effects enabled http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq7qnb4h60k . I have something similar on my notebook from 450 €, 200 € less much-touted iPhone in recent days.
